Jeffreys Wins Organization's Highest Award
Charles Stewart Mott, who once stated "Let us be known by our deeds," left a legacy far greater than the General Motors Corporation he helped found. The Mott Foundation continues to this day to be a national and international leader in promoting democratic ideals, which include community education, grass-roots citizen participation, and global awareness of man and his close relationship to the good earth.
Alabama Afterschool Community Network recognizes through an engraved plaque, outstanding contributions to the overall purpose of the organization and to the furtherance of community education.

Webster Elementary pep rally rocks the schoolhouse
MUSCLE SHOALS — Webster Elementary's school teachers and administrators felt a little fun was in order on Friday ahead of this week's Alabama Comprehensive Assessment Program (ACAP) testing.
To cap off a weeklong study of Muscle Shoals music, the school rocked out at a "KISS ACAP Goodbye" pep rally.
Students were treated to a concert featuring the Focus Four rock band of Muscle Shoals High School — Conner Simmons, Caleb Fuller, Kaleb Herrmann and Aaron Boatwright.
Principal Jason Simmons, dressed as KISS bassist/lead singer Gene Simmons, told the group to buckle up and prepare for great performances on the ACAP test that "you've prepared for all year."

McBride's 3rd nine weeks Student Success Pep Rally on March 18 was so much fun!
We had another coat ceremony where we honored the following students for going above and beyond to be kind to others:
Jameson Beal (3rd grade)
Bentley Herston (4th grade)
Judson Morris (5th grade)
Thanks to Dr. Holden for being McBride's guest speaker to motivate our students before ACAP testing.
