Monday Memo

November 16, 2015

What an exciting weekend for Wheatland Athletics! The girls soccer team placed second in the NYS Class D championship game and Alex Hogue took second place in Class D and was awarded the Class D Section V Sportsmanship Award.

Today is Board Visitation Day. Please refer to the schedules sent last week for details. Kim Snyder, Tiffany Passmore and Jim Musshafen will be visiting classroom throughout the day.

Just a few technology reminders/updates...

  1. Please make sure any iPads, netbooks, etc. are locked up before you leave. Our building is used for a variety of activities during the evening and classroom doors are sometimes open when the custodial staff are cleaning rooms.
  2. Please remember to always "log off" from your computer at night or when you might be away from your desk for an extended period of time. Grades 3 - 5 teachers, please remember to teach you students this same habit.
  3. For the Guest WiFi, please use your "Active Directory" log in instead of the WCguest log in. This is the same for students.

The first T. J. Connor Science Fair will be this Tuesday evening starting at about 6:00. At last count, there were at least 47 students signed up. I am excited to see all the projects!

Here are some pictures from the last week (Thanks to Anne and Julia for the pictures)...
