Teen Truth Parent Night THIS Wednesday 5:30pm

Please join us on Wednesday Night at 5:30 pm in the Library for our annual Teen Truth Parent Night. This event has been rescheduled from last semester. Students will be part of the Teen Truth assemblies on Thursday. This is a chance for parents to preview some of what students will see, and also talk about school safety and bullying can have tragic results. Never before has this topic been more relevant to our community. Also on hand will be our principal, Michele Krantz and school counselor, Steve Paterson. We hope to see you there.

ID Cards

Students have always been required to have an ID while on campus. All students received a student ID at Summer Check-in (or later enrollment if they started after the beginning of the school year.) All students must wear their ID (on a lanyard or clipped above their waist) while on campus.

Students who forget their ID will be provided a temporary ID to use that day. It must be turned in at the end of the day to the ASB window. Students who do not return the ID will be assigned lunch detention the next school day.

We are working to secure a system that will allow us to scan the IDs for various purposes, including after school intervention and during emergencies, so we can account for where students are on campus.

Students may purchase a new ID card in the library for $5 if theirs has been misplaced.

Before and After School Supervision

As a reminder, supervision is available starting at 8:00 am until 4:00 pm. Students participating in an activity ending after 4:00 pm must have their ride waiting for them at the conclusion of the activity. Students left unsupervised may lose the privilege of participation in that activity.

Please put into place an emergency backup plan to account for traffic and other emergencies.

LCAP Stakeholder's Meeting

Parents are invited to join us to give input at the LCAP (Local Control Accountability Plan) Meeting on Tuesday, February 11th at 4:30 pm in the La Mesa MPR. Please come and have your voice included as the new plan is written. The Hart District wants to hear what's important to you.
