What Can I be Doing Over the Summer?

Update and network through your LinkedIn

Linkedin is a powerful tool for maximizing the reach of your personal network - connecting with fellow students, W&M alumni, and employers is a great way to get your name out there! Use your profile to let them know about your skills, accomplishments, and what kind of opportunities you are looking for. Making these connections is key to finding jobs that aren't listed online.

We have a ton of resources on the Career Center's website to help you. Whether you haven't made a profile yet or you've been on LinkedIn since the beginning of time, we've got something for you.

Concerned or confused about networking? Check out our resources and feel free to reach out to the office with more questions. We're open all summer long!
