Hero Interview

When most people think of a hero, they imagine someone flying through the air shooting lasers and saving people. This is far from what a true hero is. A true hero can be a normal everyday citizen. A true hero is someone who cares about others. No matter what, they will put others needs above theirs. And most importantly the truly love and look out for the person that sees them as a hero. A real hero is not someone who cares about others, is selfless and will go out of their way to help other people.

A hero is someone who cares about other people no matter what. They love and support people even if they make stupid mistakes. A hero could simply be someone who helps a kid complete their homework or supports a friend or family member during a tough time. You may not think of them as a hero but to someone they most likely are. A hero can be anyone and everyone can have their own hero.

A hero is someone who is selfless and will go out of their way to help others. No matter what they will do what's best for other people. They will put others needs before their own. For me, my personal hero is my mom. She is really kind and will always go out of her way to help others. She will always care about you and no matter what she will help you. She constantly is going out of her way to help others and making other people priority. For example, my mom was diagnosed with cancer she knew that it would be hard but she pushed through the tough times. This shows that she is a hero because she cared about her family and even when she was going through hard times she made sure everyone was ok and she made everyone know that she would be happy. According to National Geographic, The key to heroism is a concern for other people in need. This quote shows that all you need to do to be a hero into care about others. That's why my mom is a personal hero for me.

Overall, a hero is not someone flying around aging people from burning buildings. A true hero is someone who cares about others. They will go out of there way to help someone. They will put others needs before theirs and they will do what's best for other. That's what separates a true hero from an everyday citizen.

Some people may be wondering how Jackie Robinson connects to my personal hero. All though they aren't that much alike, they have many things in common. First, they both played very similar sports. My mom played a lot of softball in high school and baseball and softball are a lot alike. They both are also very nice people. They care about others and always help people. That is how Jackie Robinson and Marcia Leadholm are related.

Poem
