Homer Highlights
Week of April 25, 2022
Dear Families,
For elementary and middle school students, M-Step testing will begin next week. This year, we will do all of our ELA testing the first week of May, for all students 3-7. Be sure to get plenty of rest and come prepared to do your best!
LFE Spring Sing This Week!
The students of LFE are so excited to be back in person for this year's Spring Sing! They can't wait to share some of their favorite music from around the world. This year, each grade level will put on their own concert at different times throughout the day, giving each grade level an opportunity to perform more music! Students should wear bold rainbow colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue or purple). Please park in the parking lot by the HS circle drive and enter through the athletic entrance (HS gym doors).

Dress Code Reminders...
Cut-offs, halter tops, tank tops, bare midriffs and muscle shirts are not acceptable for school dress. Hats and Hoods are considered apparel for the outside and shall not be worn in the building. Shorts of appropriate length, halfway down the thigh or longer, are allowed in school year round. Skirt length must also adhere to the mid-thigh rule."
We are seeing an increase in midriff baring shirts. Please remind students that if the shirt cannot touch the waist band of one's pants, then it is too short to wear to school. If a student is wearing any clothing that is in violation of the above dress code policies, they will be asked to either change or call a parent to bring alternative clothing.
