Keeping the Crew up to Date! Volume 1 Issue 33 - 5/8/22

Greetings Clipper Nation!

Tonight is once again a big night for a former JMB graduate Jay Copeland as he competes to stay on American Idol. Let's keep working as a community to vote for Jay Copeland. (Follow American Idol incase their are last minute voting details.)

We are continuing to see a lot of crop tops recently as the temperatures have increased. Please encourage your student to dress appropriately for school. This includes not having shorts that are too short along with no midriffs showing.

Teachers will be submitting progress report grades at the end of the day on Monday and progress reports will go live on May 11th. To follow the mid-term we have PTSA on the 12th from 5-7. Come out to the PTSA meeting at 5:00 followed by classroom visits from 5:30-7:00. We will also have a special rising senior event for our Juniors happening in the cafeteria from 5:30 to 6:30. We will have dinner available as well as a food and clothing distribution from our food and clothing pantry.

Senior parents, just a reminder to stay up to date, check out https://www.wcboe.org/jmb22 or https://www.smore.com/ma57b

Please remember that you have until the end of the day Thursday, May 12 to give input on the finalists for Wicomico Superintendent of Schools. Video interviews and bios for all three finalists are posted on the school system’s website at www.wcboe.org/finalists. Everyone in our school system and our community is encouraged to review the information for the three finalists and then provide input through a survey, which is accessible from the page about the finalists and is available in English, Spanish and Haitian Creole.

How do I Stay in the Know?

The best way to stay in the know is to make sure we have accurate information on file. Please look over all the information on the Student Personal Data and Enrollment Information Form as this is the information we currently have on file for you. Make any corrections to the form in blue. If you need additional space for emergency contact use a separate sheet of paper. Sign the back of the form and return it to the school. If you prefer to fill out a new form you can find a copy on our website.
