School Counselor Corner
January 28th -January 31st is "The Great Kindness Challenge". During this week, the students will be part of exciting activities that supports kindness.
- January 28th - Get tied up in Kindness- Wear a tie, hair tie, bow tie or something thing tied-dye
- January 29th - Team up to be Kind - Wear your favorite sports team jersey
- January 30th - Be a superhero for Kindness - Wear something superhero
- January 31st - Take pride in being Kind - Wear Lynnhaven Spirit Wear
January 14th, we are having two 5th Grade Parent Information Sessions to help with transitioning fifth graders from elementary to middle school. The session times are 11:00-12:00 p.m. or 6:00-7:00 p.m.
A social and emotional theme is displayed in the hallway to help promote social and emotional learning. So far, the themes have been bullying and empathy. January's theme is "Kindness". At the "Kindness Station" there will be qr codes for students to scan that links to a story about kindness, kindness bookmarkers, books, and trivia cards. Please feel free to visit it when you are in the building!

We came back up a little in December. Let's make a goal for a great January!
