Hybrid Learning! Now what?
Now that we know that we will be utilizing a hybrid learning system for a bit, what should families expect?
Transportation:
- Students that are in Cohort A will be attending school on Monday and Tuesday.
- Students in Cohort B will be attending school on Thursday and Friday.
- Students will be riding the same bus route with a similar pick up time as they have had in the past.
- Due to the 2:30 dismissal time, daily transportation changes need to be communicated by 12:45.
- If your child was not a regular bus rider, and you need to arrange bussing, you must contact Meagan Sonnentag at (715)861-1191 immediately.
- If you use a monthly busing calendar please get those to Meagan as soon as possible.
- Busses will be departing the school at 2:30, we anticipate that routes will go a bit faster as we have fewer students riding the bus.
In Person Learning:
- Due to the mask mandate still being in effect students should bring mask to school and will be expected to wear the mask as we had previously expected before our closure period.
- It is very important that students remember their Chromebook and bring it to school with them each day they are learning in person.
- Specials supplies will need to come back to school with your student when they are in person. Example: If your student brings home art supplies, instruments, or equipment these supplies will need to be sent back with students when they return for their next in person day.
Virtual Learning:
- Google Classroom will be updated Monday's by 8 am
- Teacher's will be available from 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm Mon-Friday and 8:00 am - 3:00 pm Wednesday to assist with any questions students may have regarding virtual homework questions. Contact your teacher directly for assistance.
- Participation in virtual learning will be monitored and is expected by each student. If special arrangements need to be made because of internet access please contact our dean of students, Mr. Spaeth (spaethj@cadott.k12.wi.us) for additional support and options for your student.
Attendance:
- If your student is going to be gone on their day to attend face to face learning, please call the office attendance line and report their absence no later than 9:00 am. If the absence is COVID related, please notate that in the call so we can document that and/or have the nurse contact you if you have questions.
- Letting us know the reason better helps us understand why the absent has occurred so we can accurately look at our truancy report that is required by the county.
- We will continue to monitor attendance in both in person learning and engagement in virtual learning activity.
- If you have any questions or concerns regarding attendance in the 2020-2021 school year please reach out to our Dean of Students, Mr. Spaeth. (spaethj@cadott.k12.wi.us)
As we continue through this ever changing year we would like to THANK each of you for your continued patience and support! Our community has rallied through so much in 2020, we could not do it with out you.

Wrestling
Dear Parent/Guardian,
Our coaching staff is excited to offer your child an opportunity to be a part of the
great sport of wrestling! We love that wrestling provides a unique opportunity for
our student-athletes to learn respect and work ethic, which will go far beyond the
mat. Our first day of practice will be Monday, January 4 th . We are blessed to have 9
youth coaches helping out this year, which will provide more one-on-one coaching
for our wrestlers. It takes a community to foster a successful program and we are
thankful for all the positivity and support. Let’s give our children some normalcy
and prepare for a fun and successful wrestling season of movement and social
interaction! If you would like to be added to our email list or simply have questions
please email me at yeagerd@cadott.k12.wi.us
Thank You!
