CMS Math Teams Start Strong
CMS Maths Teams are off to a great start for the 2019 season. In the recent Wallace State Math Tournament the 7th Grade Team placed 2nd and the 8th Grade Team finished in 1st Place.
CHS Science Experiments
These students in Mrs. Greenlee's and Mrs. Blackwood's classes recently did some hands-on learning with elements and electrochemical cells.
Mrs. Greenlee's class observed that elements burn different colors and their spectra act like fingerprints.
Mrs. Blackwood's AP Chemistry made a battery that created enough voltage to run a toy car using electrochemical cells.
It's Spann Again!
James Spann returned to CCS this week to spend some time with EES 6th graders. James dedicates so much of his time to educating the students of this state on weather and weather safety. Thanks again, James!
A Great Art Start
These CCPS students are getting an introduction to pop art! Early introduction and exposure to art is so important!
Research and Presentation
These WES students have been researching their assigned animals and then creating a Google slide presentation to share the senses that the animals possess. These are great skills for our students to master.
Coffee Delivery
CMS students delivered coffee to EES this week! What a great treat!
Bearcats Set for Final Game of the Regular Season
The Bearcats will face Fort Payne tonight for the final game of the regular season. It will also be senior night. Join us to cheer on the Bearcats and recognize the contributions of our seniors to our program.
Pictured below: Wayne Cook addressed the team last week during pre-game. Mr. Cook reflected on his father, the late Coach Dale Cook. Coach Cook was a huge influence on so many people.
