Message From Mr. McCracken
There will not be a newsletter next week due to the Thanksgiving break. I hope that you all take some time to be intentionally grateful over break! When we return from the break, starting Monday, November 30th, LTMS will be in a remote learning environment. Students' schedules will NOT change. The only difference is that students will be Zooming EACH class period, including 8th period, during the school day. If you have any questions, please let us know. We want this to be a smooth transition.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Mr. McCracken

Book Return
Hello LTMS students and families!
I am writing to ask each of you to check around your home (bedroom, living room, kitchen, old backpack from last year, maybe even the car, etc.-you get the idea) for library books. There are still hundreds of books missing from last spring, as well as many, many books that were checked out during 1st quarter that have not been returned to the library. With our students going into remote learning soon, I'd love to get books back so I can fix any that are damaged and quarantine them before students return. This includes any books from previous school years!
I will even have my candy bucket at my desk and reward students with candy if they return overdue library books to me in the library between now and next Tuesday when we leave for Thanksgiving break!
HOW TO LOG INTO DESTINY:
Students who are unsure whether they still have items checked out are able to look up their account by logging into the library website: https://destiny.usd232.org/
Choose “Lexington Trails Middle School” under Middle Schools
Click on “Log In” (top right hand corner)
Username: your normal student username without @usd232.org (ex. leistnik000)
Password: your initials-lunch code (ex. nl-00000)
Click on “My Info” to see library/textbook/resources checked out to student
Thanks so much for your help!
