iGnite Deployment Day!!!!

Today is our iGNITe deployment day! We will be kicking off with some fun activities on our chromebook this week. All students will be given a chromebook, case, and charger to use at school and home. Please make sure the chromebook is charged EVERY night and returns to school with your student everyday. The chromebook can be a great learning tool when used properly. This week we will focus on digital citizenship and how to take care of our chromebooks.

This newsletter is also located on our classroom Canvas page. Ask your student to show you around our Canvas page.

  • This week I am sending home a worksheet having to do with Place Value.
  • Reading at home is encouraged to help your student practice their independent reading skills.

Class Dojo

We will be using Class Dojo this year as a communication between school and home and as a way to monitor positive and negative behaviors. By logging onto our class dojo, you will be able to see your student's progress and can contact me at anytime through the dojo messenger. If you have not signed into our class dojo, please do. LEt me know if you need assistance.

Important Reminders

  • Monday, September 5. Labor Day. NO SCHOOL!
