What is going on?

Writing: We will be exploring sensory language through our poetry unit.

Spelling Words and Grammar: best, draw, find, grow, let, or, six, tell

This week we will be focusing on adjectives and how to use them to add details in our writing.

Reading: : We will be exploring the genre of poetry. We will describe how rhyme, rhythm, and repetition interact to create images in poetry.

Math: This week, students will continue to work on addition and subtraction using real-life situations and word problems. Students will be given a situation and will decide how to solve using addition or subtraction. We will assess student understanding at the end of the week.

Science: Students will explore the processes in the water cycle, including evaporation, condensation, and precipitation, as connected to weather conditions. They will conduct many experiments throughout the week.
