Biome Description

It is located in the near the North Pole and the South Pole. The tundra has very little growing time.

Abiotic Features

The average yearly tempature is between 10 and 20 degrees. The ground is frozen, witch means it's permafrost (Permanetly frozen). The average is precipitation is 25 cm. (10 in)


It has ice and snow and is usually. Plant cover, rocks and bodies if water slow down natural thawing and freezing patterns of the ground.

Biotic Factors

The basic animals of the tundra are polar bears, artic foxes, ETC. Some plants of the Tundra is the Artic moss, Artic Willow, and Caribou moss.
