I am very proud of our tennis team for their dedication to the sport. Yesterday we met at 5:00 a.m. for our tournament and didn't finish until 5:00 p.m.! I am very proud of Roy Castellanos and Alejandra Mares for their efforts, they fell just short of winning gold however they played a 2-hour semi-final match and were able to win in a tiebreaker. Roy and Alejandra won Silver (2nd) , Roberto Torres and Emily Solis won bronze medals in mixed doubles, Angel Ortiz and Nayari Diaz won bronze as well, Eric Perez and Jose Mendieta were also able to win bronze medals, and Estrella Aredondo also won bronze yesterday too. The perseverance of our cougars can be attributed to all your support, thank you all for everything!
