As we get information from the district, I will send monthly updates to make sure we are all up-to-date and keep you 'in the know' off what is happening here at Conners ES.

  • Wednesday, February 16: Spring Picture Day


  • Monday, February 21: President's Day: No School


  • Tuesday, February 22: Math Academic Night!


  • Friday, March 11: End of Third Grading Period


  • Monday, March 14: No School


  • April 11 - 18: No School for Spring Break


  • Monday, April 25: Yes, there is school this day!


  • May 2 - 6: Teacher Appreciation Week


  • Wednesday, May 25: Last day of school - Half Day, out at 11:30 am

Covid-19 Updates

Due to the extreme staffing shortages based on the high number of positive COVID-19 cases, the District is adjusting the 2021-2022 District calendar to provide a five-day pause in alignment with the COVID-19 Quarantine and Isolation Guidance. This five-day pause will promote a safe, healthy learning environment in our schools to “Stop the Spread” in order to continue face-to-face instruction.


Components of the Five-Day Pause

The District will adjust the 2021-2022 District calendar as follows

  • Friday, January 14, 2022
    • Staff development day - No school for students
  • Tuesday, January 18, 2022
    • Contingency day - No school for students

Based on these changes, the following adjustments will be made to the 2021-2022 District calendar to provide a five-day pause:
  • Monday, February 7, 2022
    • Full day of instruction, previously a contingency day
  • Tuesday, April 25, 2022
    • Full day of instruction, previously a staff development day
  • All athletics, before- and after-school activities, Safekey, field trips, athletic practices, and athletic travel are canceled from January 14, 2022, through January 18, 2022.


Employees and students will return to work and have regular in-person instruction on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.


The Connection Line at 702-799-6632 will be available for students from Friday, January 14, 2022, through Tuesday, January 18, 2022, from 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Students and families are also reminded that SafeVoice is available 24 hours a day at www.safevoicenv.org or at 833-216-7233.

Keeping our Teachers Up-to-Date with Knowledge!

Thanks to your help with our APEX Fun Run, we used our fundraiser funds to support teacher learning by becoming a CHAMPS School! Through CHAMPS, our teachers can make explicit their expectations of students and define learning goals and help students be more successful all over campus. Coupled with PBIS, being a CHAMPS school helps students know how to show the EAGLE way and help others succeed.

Home Away From Home

With Covid-19 restrictions and guidelines, we want you to know that we are making Conners a home away from home celebrating our students and their achievements. I wanted to share what our students have worked hard on as well as the staff to make our school beautiful. Our EAGLES soar high and we wanted to share with you our accomplishments!
