New user guides have been updated by the district so if you had trouble accessing programs online before please use the new information given and try again. Think Through Math is a very important tool for your child's success. Your child will be given some homework each week to do in Think Through Math. Think Through Math practice increases the chance of STAAR success in math and your child's readiness for 5th grade. Please have your child login to Think Through Math each week to practice their skills.

Unit 5 Vocabulary
“A Walk in the Desert” Vocabulary
1. shimmer- shine with a soft, unsteady light
2. eerie- frightening and strange
3. lurk- hide, usually with a bad intention
4. climate- the weather that an area has
5. silken- like silk, delicate threads, soft, shiny
6. lumbering- moving slowly and heavily
“Roadrunner’s Dance” Vocabulary
1. interfere- stop something or get in the way
2. awkward- not moving with grace an ease
3. proclaimed- spoke about something loudly and publicly
4. agile- moves quickly and easily
5. guardian- someone or something that watches over or protects people and things
6. convinced- persuaded someone to do something
“Animals Come Home…” Vocabulary
1. roamed- moved around with no purpose
2. relocated- moved to another place
3. completed- finished
4. journey- a long trip

“At Home in the Coral Reef” Vocabulary
1. reef- a ridge of sand, rock, or coral under the ocean or other body of water
