Aquifer: An underground rock layer that water flows through. This relates to the Middle East because Libya has no permanent River, so people rely on aquifers.
Silt: Small partials of rich soil. This relates to the Middle East because the Suez Canal, in the Nile River, blocks the flow of silt. This is bad because farmers don't get enough fertil soil.
