Grey Matter and Your Child
Learn more about your child's actions
What is Grey Matter?
The grey matter in the brain is the major component of the nervous system. it controls key elements such as; hearing, memory, speech and emotions.
How does it affect your teen?
Since the grey matter in the brain isn't fully developed, that means your child's emotions aren't either. They don't know how to handle their emotions therefore they may be happy one hour, mad the next, sad, the list of emotion that they feel in a day can go on and on and on.
How do you help this?
I'm sorry to say but you will be dealing with the whirl wind of emotions up until their earlier 20's. Each year it will only get better. If it does not please get your child tested for any major brain damaged that may have occurred during the development of the Grey Matter.
