NEW! Policy – OCIS
Just a reminder that if your student is going to be gone for three days or more, we ask that you stop by the office and fill out an OCIS Contract. This way your child will not miss any assignments and the school will still receive full funding which allows more dollars to be put back into our classrooms. Everyone benefits when a contract is completed! In order to allow time for processing and preparation of the contract, we ask that you let us know at least one week before the beginning of the contract.
In order to Volunteer on campus, the following documentation needs to be submitted to the office:
1) Megan's Law clearance form + picture ID (signed annually)
2) TB clearance/negative result from a health care provider (Good for 4 years)
3) Code of Conduct form (signed annually)
4) Code of Confidentiality (signed annually)
5) Proof of Covid vaccination (provide vaccination card, new this year)
Note--the district office needs at least 2 weeks to process and clear volunteers once all forms/documents are submitted; therefore, please submit the volunteer paperwork as soon as you are able.
Universal Meal Plan Continues
Poway Unified will continue providing a universal meal plan at no cost to families. All CHES students are eligible to participate in this meal plan, without the need for signups or paperwork. Breakfast distribution will be available at lunchtime, to be picked up for the next day.
