Weekly Update
Week of September 19th 2022
Settling in at CPS
We have our first full week behind us and CPS staff and students are starting to get in the groove of being back at school. We have been focusing on routines, relationships and building classroom norms so that there is a strong foundation in place as we start introducing important content in the classroom. Friday, we had our first all school assembly of the year, where our assistant principals Mrs. Mailloux and Mrs. Lombardi reviewed expectations, discussed after school clubs and offerings and gave away some fun CPS prizes. It was a great opportunity to practice our behavior during large group gatherings and all students did a fantastic job rising to the occasion. We also used our assembly as an opportunity to introduce our new counseling staff to students.
