Students Created Graphs & Analyzed the Data
Students brought in recycled items the duration of summer academy, and everyday they updated their bar graphs:

Students then answered word problems using their bar graphs to solve. They LOVED tracking & graphing the amount of recycled items brought to school!

Starting to Brainstorm Ideas for our Plan:
First, explaining the project & expectations...
Students learned who their group members were, and we went over the different step of the project. We also went over group expectations & overall project expectations.
Rough Drafts of Plan:
Students created webs of their ideas on how our school can REDUCE, REUSE & RECYCLE to reduce waste!
FINALIZING PLAN:
Creating Posters:
Each group created a poster for each "R" in their plan:
- Our plan for our school to REDUCE amounts of energy used...
- Our plan for our school to RECYCLE to reduce waste...
- Our plan to REUSE items to reduce waste...
