Balls to the Wall - Lyrical Poem
It was a hot, summer day at the old Cardinal Park,
Where two undefeated teams went balls to the wall,
But only the players that gave it their all,
Would come out on top,
One would stand,
One would fall.
The game was an intense one,
The players would never be the same,
The game would go down in history,
With the Cardinals standing in the Hall of Fame.
Gone! - Haiku Poem
The swish of the bat,
The crack sounds, the ball rises,
Going, Going, Gone!
