Friday Focus
An update of events at Kenneth Murphy for the week of 10/17
Things Keep Getting Better
We had an absolutely outstanding week at Kenneth Murphy! This week I had the great pleasure of having Representative Sheri Jesiel serve as Principal for the Day with me. Students in fourth and fifth grade had the opportunity to meet and discuss the role of state government and elections with her. We also are preparing to begin using our new supply pantry that is located in the office. If you are interested in supporting this effort, please contact me for more information. Many of the staff at Kenneth Murphy also took time to make Literacy-O-Lanterns. These great works of art will be on display throughout the building.

Make sure to look around the building at the great staff art work.
Student Council Elections
We are thrilled to be hosting elections for our brand new student council!
A visit from Rep. Sheri Jesiel
It was an honor to have Sheri Jesiel spend time at Kenneth Murphy.
Parent Collaboration
As a staff, we want to make sure that we are meeting the expectations of our parents and community with the programs being implemented at Kenneth Murphy. We are looking for help on our PBIS Committees and I also would like to create a school advisory council that will involve parents, community members and students. If you are interested in serving on a committee at Kenneth Murphy to help provide your voice and direction, please contact Matt Mayer at (847)-599-5060.
