Oak Hills Newsletter

Week of November 14 and November 21, 2022

Message from the Principal

Dear Oak Hills Families,

We appreciate connecting with families during Parent Teacher Conferences. It was wonderful to see you in person or via zoom. Teachers were very intentional and thoughtful about what to share with you during a 20-minute conference. We hope you left feeling that your child is supported while at Oak Hills. Teachers prioritize building connection and relationships with students while doing their best to meet individual needs. What we know is students thrive more with your partnership throughout the school year. Please reach out to your child's teacher when you have questions, wonderings, or need suggestions on how you can support your child at home. We will do our best to connect so you know more about your student's emotional, behavior, and academic needs. We want your child to be seen, heard, and supported.

November is a month we focus on gratitude. I am grateful for being at Oak Hills every day and serving the students, families, and staff here. The children truly make my heart big. Their smilies, laughter, curiosity, and desire to learn and make friends every day is our daily purpose here. Your children remind all staff that we have the best job--serving as an educator. It is not always easy work but extremely meaningful and important. I am grateful for a talented, passionate, and caring staff. We all love your children and this school community. Thank you for being our partners. Thank you for trusting us every day with your children.

Sincerely,

Ms. Do
