Ms. Spencer's Weekly Newsletter
Week of April 7 - April 10
This Week's News
I hope you all enjoyed your spring break!
We are back to a busy start to 4th quarter! We have MAP testing coming up very quickly and our Famous Missourian project is being started this week. Please keep an eye out for a letter being sent home that tells you important information about this project!
Friday folders will be sent home every Friday (or the last day of school for the week).
Please review the papers inside and sign the parent log stapled to the front. Friday Folders will also have the green Weekly Report in them, please review this to see if your child has any missing work or signed Oops tickets during the week! You may write any questions or comments you have on the back!
Home Reading Log
The home reading log is due on May 1st . Please encourage your child to read at least 20 minutes every night. We have discussed in class that some nights may be busy and reading could be difficult to do. Your child must read a minimum of 400 minutes for the April log. It does not matter if they read 60 minutes on the weekend to make up for missing a night or two of reading during the week. That is acceptable for me. You may make the decision whether you will allow your child to do this or not!
