Irons Family,

I cannot tell you what a privilege it is to serve as principal of Irons Jr. High. I could not be more proud of our student accomplishments this year. I want to thank our students, parents, coaches, sponsors, and teachers who have supported our students with all of our activities this school year! With everyone's support, we continue to show our Commitment to Excellence!

We wish our 8th-grade students well as they transition to ORHS next year. For our 7th-grade students, this is your time to step up and become the leaders at Irons. I hope everyone has a fun and safe summer vacation after we finish our final four school days next week.

I look forward to seeing our 7th-grade students as they transition to 8th grade and welcoming our new Hawks from Suchma and Vogel next school year.

End of Year Reminders:

Students are not allowed to bring backpacks, large purses, or athletic duffel bags starting Monday, May 22nd, through the last day of school, Thursday, May 25th. Students arriving with large bags will be asked to turn the bag into the counselor's office for storage during the school day. Students can use a small purse or string bag to carry phones, classwork, pens, and pencils needed for reviews or exams during the final week of school.

We will dismiss school at 1:10 Thursday May 25th.

Smart Tags:

All students should keep their smart tag student ID in a safe location over the summer for use next school year or in summer school. If you are a 7th-grade student who has lost your smart tag and need a replacement, you may purchase one for two dollars in the counseling center or at schedule pick-up day next school year.

All students will use the smart tag on the first day of school next school year.

Library Books:

Please ensure all Library books are returned by Monday 5/22

Conroe ISD Virtual Academy:

Conroe ISD's Virtual Academy is enrolling students for the 2023-2024 school year. Students must be enrolled in Conroe ISD and entering grades 5-9 for the 2023-24 school year to be eligible to apply. Check out our website for more information: http://virtual.conroeisd.net

School Supplies:

LAST DAY TO PURCHASE SCHOOL SUPPLIES!

Irons 23-24 School Supplies are on sale now through May 23rd.

Support Irons Jr. High by purchasing your school supplies through the school. A portion of the sales will support student programs on campus.

Supplies will be available for pickup during schedule pickup day on July 31st from 4-7pm.

A limited quantity of packs will be available for purchase at the Schedule Pickup.

Packs will be $70. Please bring correct change, cash only.

Clinic:

All medications will need to be picked up from by 1:00 on 5/25. Any medication not pick up will be disposed after 1:00 on 5/25/23

Report Cards:

Report cards will be mailed home in early June.
