As we work through the early part of October we would like to encourage families to reach out and contact teachers regarding your student's learning. Grades should begin to be entered with more frequency, if you have questions surrounding these entries first contact the classroom teacher for your answers. October also brings some adjustments to our schedule, this upcoming week on October 12 students will be taking part in a variety of tests depending on their grade level. This past week McKay High School celebrated their Homecoming Week. Students and staff showed great school spirit throughout the week. Below you will see a gallery of pictures that were taken throughout the week. The week ended with a Saturday afternoon football game, as well as a Homecoming Dance on Saturday night. Congratulations goes out to our Homecoming Court.

Congratulations to Jamahl Wilson for being honored this past week as the Salem Sports Breakfast Club Athlete of the Week. Jamahl is a junior on this year's McKay Royal Scots football team, we are looking forward to watching him continue his success. Congratulations Jamahl!

Please know that McKay is partnering with Trillium Mental Health Therapists to provide services to students for anything they are struggling with. They are here most days. Please see your counselor if you are interested in meeting with them.
