Welcome Back for 2nd Semester
Cascade High School welcomes our students back following Winter Break for the beginning of 2nd Semester! The 1st Semester of the 2022-2023 school year was filled with successes and definitely flew by quickly. We look forward to our students and staff creating many new memories and finding numerous successes this semester! Transcripts that include grades from 1st Semester will be mailed home in couple of weeks. Parents can check Powerschool Parent Portal after Wednesday to check finalized 1st Semester grades.
Boys' and Girls' Basketball County Tournament
The Hendricks County Tournament for Boys' and Girls' Basketball will take place this week. The Cadets travel to Brownsburg tonight for the opening round. The Girls' Basketball team will take on Brownsburg at 6:00 pm. and the Boys' Basketball team will take on Brownsburg following the conclusion of the girls' game. Good luck this week to the Cadets in the county tournament!
Boys' and Girls' Swimming and Diving
The Cascade High School Boys' and Girls' Swimming and Diving teams will compete for the Indiana Crossroads Conference championship Saturday at Beech Grove High School The girls are looking to defend their ICC title from last year. The boys are looking to win the ICC title after finishing as runner-up last season. Good luck to the Cadet swimmers and divers Saturday. Bring home those conference championship trophies!

Wrestling
The Cascade High school wrestling team will be competing in the Indiana High School Wrestling Coaches Association Team State tournament Saturday at Franklin Community High School. The Cadets are the #2 Seed for the 1A tournament and are looking to win the IHSWCA team title for 1A! The wrestlers have had an outstanding season so far, and we look forward to the wrestlers competing in the IHSAA tournament later this month and into February! Let's go Cadets!

Upcoming School Calendar Dates
Students will not have school on Friday, January 13th and Monday, January 16th. Teachers will be participating in professional development on January 13th and there is no school for students. The Mill Creek Community School Corporation will be closed on Monday, January 16th in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Children's Christmas Party
The students and staff of Cascade High School once again hosted the Children's Christmas Party to assist families in need in our community. Thank you to the CHS National Honor Society, our high school staff, and the many high school students who purchased gifts, helped decorate, and plan activities for the evening. Many student groups and staff members helped host a magical afternoon for the children.
