June Update
For students interested in MIS, Comp Sci, Math & Stat
Meet with me
School may be out, but we haven't closed shop! The Career Center is open all summer long! Get a jump start on your fall plans or meet with me to talk about major/career choices. You can schedule a one-hour appointment with me by calling our front desk at 706-542-3375. Appointments can be in-person or via phone if you're off campus! Meet with me to talk about your job/internship search, potential career options, using Handshake, networking, LinkedIn, graduate school search, and more!
Please note that walk-in and drop-in hours do not take place in the summer. These will resume in the fall.

Resources and Recommendations
The recommendations section for each of my majors (MIS, Computer Science, Math, and Statistics) will give you several examples of career paths that are common for the major. It is important to remember that this list is not exhaustive! These are just typical paths. Here you will see a short summary of what that role entails, and clicking on the job title itself will take you to an external site where you can find more detailed info on a career in that field.

Arch Ready Program
What is Arch Ready?
1. Attend 5 or more eligible events each semester.
2. Check-in at each event on an iPad at the front of the room. Check-out of each event by completing a red Arch Ready card.
3. Complete a brief survey after each workshop. Surveys will be sent following the workshop and are open for 1 week.
4. After attending 5 or more events, complete the final Arch Ready survey found here: http://career.uga.edu/archready.
Please Note: You must keep track of your own attendance. Career Center staff will only verify attendance at the end of the semester.
Upcoming Arch Ready Events
Arch Ready will begin again early in the fall semester. To see all of the details and full list of events when they become available, visit http://career.uga.edu/calendar/archready_certificate.
