Things to Know
WALK-THROUGH #3
Walk Through #3 will focus on standards 3 (Instructional Strategies), 5 (Assessment strategies & 7 (positive learning environment). We will concentrate on Inferential and Standards-based questioning strategies during the ELA block as well.
DUTIES
It is important that all assigned to a duty whether it be in the morning, lunch, or afternoon, please be at your duty station on time. There should never be a day where there is not an adult on duty. Thank you in advance!
TRANSPORTATION CARDS
ALL Students need a transportation card each day. Students should not leave your room at dismissal without one. Please make new ones if cards are missing, old or illegible.
COUNSELOR APPRECIATION WEEK
This time is set aside to let our counselor know we appreciate her. Many of your students meet with her regularly. Have them make a card, or stop by to say thank-you during the week.
FEBRUARY EVENTS
CAKE AUCTION:
If your class will be decorating and submitting a cake for the cake auction, please upload your parent opt-out forms to your grade level folder communication folder (more information will come in the flipped faculty presentation).
VALENTINE'S DAY
We do not have parties for V-Day, however students may exchange cards ( even though some come with treats). If you plan to provide a "special snack" on that day, please upload your opt-out form.
FANTASTIC SAVINGS COUPON BOOKS KICK-OFF
Continue to encourage your students to turn in their money for the coupon book sales.
SCHOOL-WIDE ENRICHMENT OPPS
Please remind your students about the Science Expo and Leprechaun Trap Events coming up!
- Entry Form Slips for the Science Expo must be entered into the registration form located on the Timothy Road Teacher Portal and turned into Spectrum Department.
- Leprechaun Trap entry forms are to be placed in the Leprechaun Box in the media center.
