The nautilus uses over 90 tentacles to glide swiftly through the water.If it wants to move up, it empties the chamber in its shell of water and fills it with gas. If it wants to move down, it opens the chamber and lets water pour in.

It is related to the cuttlefish, squid, and octopus because they’re all cephalopods, meaning they have tentacles attached to their heads. It’s also related to the clam and snail because it’s a mollusk.
