Position I'm Interviewing For: Education Assistant
Company Description/History: The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame opened in September 1995 after twelve years in the making. Since its opening, the museum has welcomed over 8 million visitors and reaches more than 50,000 teachers and educators each year. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum’s mission is to engage, teach and inspire through the power of rock and roll. The institution carries out its mission by giving voice to the stories of the people, artifacts and events that shaped rock and roll — through Museum exhibits, materials in the Museum’s Library and Archives, traveling exhibitions, and a wide array of innovative educational programs and activities. The 150,000 square-foot Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, located in Cleveland’s rapidly developing North Coast Harbor, is home to major artifact collections, four state-of-the-art theaters, and year-round educational and concert programming.
Interview Prep: Prior to interviewing, I would need to brush up on my knowledge of rock and roll history as well as information on influential rock artists or the past, present, and future. I'd also need to be able to demonstrate my administrative and technology skills, if asked to do so during the interview. I should also practice answering interview questions prior to my arrival.

Position I'm Interviewing For: Youth & Family Programs Coordinator
Company Description/History: The Walt Disney Family Museum presents visitors with information regarding the inspirational journey of Walt Disney. Their mission is to inform present and future generations about the man and, through his story, to inspire them to heed their imagination and persevere in pursuing their goals.
The museum illuminates Walt’s fascinating life: his tremendous successes as well as his disappointments, and his unyielding optimism as he worked tirelessly to advance the art of animation. Visitors get to know Walt through early drawings and animation, movies, music, and listening stations featuring his own voice, as well as a 13-foot model of Disneyland as Walt originally envisioned it.
The 40,000 square foot museum is located in a historic brick building on the main post of San Francisco’s Presidio.
Interview Prep: I would need to draft a resume and cover letter that highlighted the attributes I possess that would help me excel in this specific position. Both documents would need to be submitted to HR prior to my interview. I would buy a suit and appropriate shoes for the interview and make sure to bring additional copies of my cover letter and resume with me on interview day. Prior to my interview, I would practice my responses to commonly asked interview questions and situations. I would also brush up on my knowledge of Walt Disney, his animation style, and the exhibits that the museum offers to the public.

Position I'm Interviewing For: Primary Therapist
Company Description/History: Alta Mira is a residential and outpatient addiction and dual-diagnosis treatment center whose mission is to provide hope, strength and healing for individuals and families. They offer clinical and diagnostic services, individualized treatment plans, and a team of highly credentialed addiction treatment professionals. Their unique program addresses the neurobiological, psychological, physical, social and spiritual aspects of addiction, empowering people to find personal meaning and embrace life’s infinite possibilities. The treatment facility is located just minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge in Sausalito, California in a historic hotel.
Interview Prep: In order to even qualify for the position, I would need to have my license to practice therapy in California, as well as my masters or doctorate degree and at least two years experience in clinical care. I will need to be able to present proof of my success with patients using both art and equine therapy. Just like the other jobs, I'll need to have a customized cover letter and resume prepared for the company prior to my interview. I will need to dress appropriately (in a suit) and have practiced standard interview questions ahead of time.
