What a great day last Friday (Veterans' Day, 11/11) as we recognized those who serve our country. Thank you to the guest speakers who visited our classroom either in person or via WebEx. It was wonderful to hear about their experiences and what it meant to them to serve our country.
Many students also shared stories and pictures of family members and friends who serve as well. Above is the showcase which holds our “Wall of Honor”.

November PAC Meeting

Lost and Found
Our wonderful grade-level secretaries sorted out all of the missing lunch boxes, water bottles, and clothing items that have been left behind at ROMS.
Please have your child visit the Lost and Found located between the Gathering Place and the Café to claim their lost items during school hours.
The ROMS Spiritwear Store is open again, just in time for the holidays!
Orders can be placed from Monday, November 14 through Monday, November 28. New items have been added, as well as a new logo! A portion of the profits will go directly to ROMS Student Council.
Funds will be used to sponsor various school events, such as our Holiday Movie Night and Ice Cream Social. Stock up on your ROMS gear!
ROMS Annual Food and Toiletry Drive is BACK!

No Fuss Fundraiser!
We're not selling anything. We're not asking anybody to run. It's just that simple!
After a two-year COVID hiatus from fundraising, the ROMS PTSA savings are depleted, and it's time to fill back up for a full year of programming! The Go, Dawg, Go fundraiser launched on 10/24! (Formerly Dawg Walk)
We are fundraising online this fall and then having a Big Dawg Party celebration for students in the spring. Stay tuned for an acts-of-kindness action drive this month!
Some of what PTSA provides support for includes: Student cultural arts / assemblies, classroom book programs, teacher classroom grants, DEI initiatives, FORTIS program support, classroom learning supplies, field trips, grade level dances, 8th grade celebrations, teacher appreciation, and so much more.
If every student raises a minimum of $50 we will surpass our goal of $50,000!
How to get started:
1) Register your student(s). Click this link or go to the QR code on the attached flier and then go to the Sign Up button. (Please register a student before donating to them.)
2) Go into your student's account and donate online using a credit or debit card. *Please note that when donating you will be prompted to add a "tip". This optional tip goes to MemberHub and not ROMS, so please skip the tip!
3) Share your student's MemberHub fundraising website through email or social media to ask others to donate.
4) Check the MemberHub fundraising website to track your student's donations!
Each week we'll pull 3 names of registered students from the grade level that has the most registrations that week for a prize drawing!
Any questions, please email Elizabeth Mulheisen at romspta@gmail.com
Thank you!
