Montclair's Mission Statement
NEW CHANGES...
To help ease the traffic when picking up your students, please come closer to your scheduled pick up time. If we are able to load the preschool and younger students between 3:30-3:35, it will free up the flow of traffic for everyone else. If you come early and queue up for pick up too early, it ends up blocking the middle flow of traffic or taking a spot of someone who needs to pick up at an earlier time. Thanks for your help as we continue to make picking up a better and more timely experience for all!
The playground remains closed before and after school except for the KidsNetwork program. Students should leave school grounds at the end of the day.

How Can Montclair Families Support Our School in 2020-2021?
No Contact School Fundraiser
Team Wildcats parent volunteers work to support our amazing school and staff. The money we raise helps make the school experience even better for all of our children.
Covid 19 has put the hold on fundraising and fun events held at the school for now. For 2020-2021, we had to prioritize the budget to just cover the basics. Unfortunately, things like special guests and assemblies for students and teacher fund requests had to be cut. The good news is...the more money we raise, the more we can do for the kids!
Please participate in our "No Contact" Fundraiser by chipping in as much as you feel comfortable. Every little bit helps! Just think, if every student donated just $1, we would already have $800! Share this link with friends and family, too!

or send a check to school made out to Montclair Elementary PTO
Where Does The Money Go?
Each teacher will receive $100 to help with their classroom. Total = $4,200
Teacher Appreciation = $500
Montclair Alumni Scholarship = $750
PTO insurance (Organizations outside the school require insurance) = $850
Print costs = $200
Students Special Back to School Gift = $300
Extra money goes right back to support our students and for teacher requests!
That is at least $6,800 that we need to raise. With all your support, we can make this happen. The 2020-2021 budget right now is at the bare minimum of what we would like to do for our students and school. The more money we make, the more we can give to our kids and teachers.
Every little bit helps!

Covid information regarding Montclair and Millard
Please remember, if someone in your household or your child is sick and has been tested for COVID, please do not send your child to school until the results are back. Thank you for helping keep our students and staff as safe as possible!
Please make sure to drop your child off between 8:10-8:30. Each child will be entering a different door of the building based on their grade level. Please do not drop off your child before 8:10!
Pick-Up - Students will be dismissed at multiple exits in a staggered approach. We do not want parents to congregate at the exits. Parents should stay in cars and pick up on the curb lane and sidewalks. Your child’s teacher will communicate your child’s pickup spot. Dismissal will be slower so please be patient.
Lunch/Visitors/Volunteers - Student meal prices for next year are $1.50 for breakfast and $2.85 for lunch. We are not able to allow lunch visitors or volunteers into school for safety reasons.
Health Screen: I cannot stress this enough that we are going to really need your help in ensuring all students and staff remain healthy. If your child is running a fever or does not feel well, please keep your child home to help minimize exposure to others.
