Weekly RAM Newsletter
A Brief Note from Dr. Burke
Dear Ram families,
Welcome to the last week of school! What a wonderful school year this has been!
I want to begin with a thank you to all the parents who donated food, gift cards, and time towards our first annual 8th Grade Breakfast. It was a huge success! We have included some pictures below.
We continue to host year-end activities this week. Two of these include Academic Awards, which take place on Wednesday and 8th Grade Promotion on Thursday. Academic Awards are separate ceremonies for each grade level beginning with 6th grade at 5:00, 7th at 6:00, and 8th grade at 7:00. The promotion ceremony begins at 8:45 Thursday morning, but students must be lined up on the tennis courts by 8:30 in order for us to begin on time. The ceremony typically lasts an hour. Feel free to take pictures in the quad and then you are free to take your newly promoted students out to celebrate. Parents please do not park in our main lot or at Tierra Bonita. Event parking is available along Twin Peaks Rd., at St. Gabriel's, and on the basketball courts. For more detailed information regarding promotion please click here.
Textbook returns continue this week. Please have your student return all library books and textbooks. Students can check their accounts through the MyPlan portal under the Destiny Library Catalog app under the "MyInfo" tab. Accounts need to be cleared for a smooth registration in August.
Speaking of registration, we want to thank those of you who have completed the online registration process. If you need help with that, including computer access, please stop by the office this week. Also, some of you have yet to provide proof of Tdap for your incoming 7th graders. Please know, failure to take care of either of these things in advance will result in significant delays in registering your student next school year.
I will close with a reminder that Thursday is a minimum day with dismissal at 12:40pm and not a late start day. Classes begin at 8:27. Also, if your student will be out the last day of school, even if it is because they have a sibling that will be promoting, please excuse the absence through the attendance office.
And finally, from our Twin Peaks family to yours, thank you for sharing your students with us. We wish you all a wonderful summer. That's it for now. We look forward to seeing all our students tomorrow, and remember, it's a 2/4/6 day.
Sincerely,
Dr. Burke

2019-20 Registration
We want to thank those of you who have completed the online registration for the 2019-20 school year. There are still 262 families who still need to register. Please click here to register online. Please click here if you need specific instructions on how to register. Remember, if your student is entering 7th grade, we need a record of all immunizations for your student(s).
We also want to remind you that we do not need the Signature Verification page until August registration and that if you are unable to print this page or any other pages, we have a computer and printer set up in the front office for you to complete this.
