Mesa Students visiting Denver

Mesa students traveled to Denver to meet with staff from several non-profit companies to learn about how their organizations meet the needs of the community.

Students visited the Denver Rescue Mission, had an authentic Mexican lunch at Comal, a heritage food incubator. Students then visited Project Angel Heart were they toured the facility. They ended the day by decorating bags that will hold nutritious meals that will be delivered to people in need.

Mesa Middle School is now home of the Rocky Mountain Color Guard Association's 2019 State Champions from the Middle School Class! Our very own winter guard had a beautiful performance on Saturday's State Championships. They scored a 91.87, the highest of the season as well as the highest score Mesa has ever received. They were first place in all five of the judging categories, Equipment, Movement, Design Analysis, and both General Effect sections. This was a fantastic way to finish our most successful season ever:

Mesa Student's Art Work at DCHS for an Art Show

Art Students and their Amazing Work!

As we have shared, our students had some work on display at DCHS's Art Show. Five of our Mesa students have been invited by a curator to have their projects displayed at a hospital this summer. This is a big honor for them and I am so proud of all the hard work that has been put in to these projects this year! Congratulations to:
