Mrs. Caldwell's Community Connection:
Message from Jennica Lee, ( Subbing for Mrs. Caldwell)
Teaching our kids how to serve and help others is critical when it comes to happiness. When kids are willing to contribute and do their part it helps them gain confidence, experience, and belonging. It gives them a sense of purpose that their classroom, family, and community needs them. Learning to be a helper protects kids from developing traits like selfishness and self-centeredness. It also surrounds them with appreciation. When we provide opportunities for our kids to contribute, we are directly fostering our next generation of leaders.
Message from our wonderful Librarian
Parents,
This year our school will participate in the "Book Battles". This will be our first year, so I am asking for volunteers to help with button making, and later, helping with the actual competition itself. If you would be willing to help in any way, please let me know. We are very excited about this new event!
