Toolkit
Love Teaching Week
#LoveTeaching Week is a grassroots campaign started by teachers in 2015 as an opportunity to celebrate teaching, leading, and learning in a way that unites and invigorates educators and those they inspire all around the world.
Every year, Valentine's Day marks the beginning of a week-long conversation that aims to illuminate why teachers enter and remain in the field of education, offering a mindset shift from the seemingly singular focus on the challenges of the profession.
Watch for more #LoveTeaching graphics and ideas at this #LoveTeaching website!
IDEAS for celebrating:
- Make a video of students telling who their favorite teacher is and why!
- Set up a photo booth with a #LoveTeaching sign- take photos of your teachers with the sign and post on social media with a nice message about why they love teaching.
- Share your story at this link:https://www.weloveteaching.org/share-your-story
Hooray for a New Website!
This switch will be as painless as I can possibly make it. I will set up the sites and migrate information for all the schools. There will be training in April or May for web managers (this is the new terminology we will use) and we go live with the new site on July 1. Our current site will remain active until we are sure our new site is absolutely ready to go live. Please continue to update your current websites!
I will provide an informational timeline once we have our initial plans in place with Blackboard.
Thanks!
Aleta
