MAP Training Dates Are Set
ESU #1 will be hosting three MAP training sessions during the 2015-16 school year. Below are the dates and details for these three trainings.

Applying Reports
- Applying Reports will provide an overview of how NWEA's MAP assessment works, as well an opportunity to review the newly revised 2015 Norms, understand and use several MAP reports (Projected Proficiency, Class & Teacher, Student Progress, Class Breakdown), and how to use Student Goal Setting to actively engage learners.
November 19, 2015 (9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.)
Informing Instruction
- Informing Instruction is a follow-up to the September 9 MAP: Applying Reports workshop. Other interested attendees may also register if you would like to learn more about Lexile, the Achievement Status & Growth (ASG) report, many NWEA resources to support differentiated instruction including the Learning Continuum, and the use of Growth Norms.
February 10, 2016 (9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.)
Focusing on Growth
- Focusing on Growth is a follow-up to the September 9 and November 19 MAP workshops. However, other interested attendees can also register for this training. This session will provide a concentrated focus on MAP and Differentiated Instruction, Goal Setting (District, School, Class) and NWEA's online resource, Destination PD.
