We had our first junior high open field last Saturday for 6th,7th, and 8th grade softball.
We learned how to warm-up and stretch properly. We also worked on the basic mechanics of throwing and fielding ground balls. We went over a hitting routine and a basic hitting stance. Most importantly, we had fun.
We will be running open field again on Saturday September 17th, from 8 to 10 am at the high school field.
We want to encourage our Pep Club students to keep up the awesome support. We love seeing them participating in their theme nights and cheering on our teams.
Come support the Oak Ridge High School Band at the Altenburg Fair parade! September 23, 2022 - the parade begins at 1:30pm. We are a drumline this year!
We have a delicious fundraiser going on until October 27. Band students are selling butter braids (THE BEST), cookie dough, and pizzas.
You can order directly from a band student or you can order online - all the band student's names are listed.
The items will be delivered here November 1, in time for the holidays!
They come frozen, so you want to put them in your freezer asap unless you wanna cook them that day!
I attached a flyer with the qr code if you'd like to order online.
The band program receives 40% of the sales!
