Come to the Book Fair to stock up on the books your child will love reading and ignite your home reading habits. Please mark your calendars to visit our Book Fair and discover your child’s next favorite book! We look forward to seeing you and your family at our Book Fair! Happy reading!
Peirce Branding Parent Focus Group

The school has an opportunity to work with Michael McGuire of 88 Brand Partners, a branding and advertising agency in Chicago. Please RSVP to Principal Lori Zaimi to indicate your availability in attending the focus group.

Volunteers needed for Parents of Students of Color Focus Groups
We need volunteers to help facilitate, take notes, and provide childcare for these focus groups! Facilitators and note-takers should be people whose racial background matches that of the focus group. We will have a meeting for facilitators and notetakers on Thursday, March 28 from 8:15-9:15am to go over the questions for the group and prepare for the groups. We will then have a follow-up meeting on Tuesday, April 9 from 8:15-9:15am to reflect on the groups and begin to analyze the information gathered. If volunteers cannot make these meetings, I will meet with them at another time to prepare and follow-up. Childcare volunteers can be people of any race who are Level 1 volunteers. Sign Up HERE to facilitate, take notes, or provide childcare for a focus group.
Library Helpers
Dr. Terzian has requested ongoing help in the library throughout the week with tasks such as shelving and checking in books. Training will be provided. Shifts are short, 40-45 minutes either after drop-off or before pickup. Volunteers must be at least a Level 2 volunteer. PLEASE NOTE: If you would like to help but have availability other than what is listed on the SignUp, please email Dr. Terzian directly at smterzian@cps.edu and she will gladly coordinate a different time with you. For more information and to sign up to help, please visit this SignUp Genius link.
Things to Donate/Lend/Bring/Trade
April 10 is the Peirce Teacher and Staff Appreciation Luncheon. If you would like to donate food, beverages or supplies, a list of items needed and instructions is here.
