Fabulous First Graders

About Ms. Williams

My name is Alexis Williams and I am very excited for this semester at Apple Elementary School. For this semester, we have plans to take our learning to the next level! We will be doing many experiments and going on many fun field trips. I look forward to seeing your child's growth and development as they take on new challenges in my class.

Our Trip to the Aquarium

As you know, our class visited the Houston Aquarium earlier this month. This field trip enhanced our new knowledge about fish and other aquatic animals. Students had the opportunity to feed the fish and pet stingrays.

Party Time!

Thanks so much for volunteering and sending a plethora of goodies for our Valentine's Day Party! The party was a success and the children enjoyed themselves. The next big party will be our End of The Year Bash on May 12, 2015. I would love 5-7 parent volunteers to help set up and run the various game stations.

Geometric Geniuses

This semester, we have focused some of our learning on geometric shapes and how they create big pictures. We have gone beyond squares and triangles and have ventured into the land of rhombi and pentagons. The class' favorite activity was creating tessellations with new and old shapes.
