Softball Wins 7A State Championship
Hewitt-Trussville Softball won the 7A State Championship for the second consecutive time on Friday in Oxford! The Huskies defeated Fairhope 16-4 in the final game to secure the title. The Huskies finished the season with a 49-3-1 overall record.

2021-2022 Student Athletic Paperwork Now Available
The Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) requires all student-athletes to complete eligibility paperwork each year. For the fourth consecutive year, this process will be done online rather than in paper copy. Any student, wishing to participate in athletics, that will be in grades 7-12 for the 2021-2022 school year will be required to complete this process. Please follow the instructions below to complete these forms for the 2021-2022 school year. Students' forms must be 100% complete in order to participate in athletics this summer or during the 2021-2022 school year. This is for AHSAA sanctioned sports only.
*AHSAA recently announced that they will accept current physicals through August 1, 2021. Mass physicals will not be held this year.

If you have never created a dragonfly account, please follow the steps below.

2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select "Do My Forms"
3. Read the instructions then select "Create Your Account & Complete Forms"
4. Click "Sign up for Free"
5. Create a PARENT account and complete forms
**You will be asked for a school code. They are GBVYT7 for Hewitt Trussville High School and VUNAZY for Hewitt-Trussville Middle School
Girls Soccer Represented on AHSAA All-Star Team
The North-South Boys’ and Girls’ Soccer All-Star Teams selected for the 2021 AHSAA North-South All-Star Sports Week were announced Tuesday by Jamie Lee, Director of the Alabama High School Athletic Directors & Coaches Association (AHSADCA).
The teams comprised of 2022 rising seniors were chosen by a special coaches committee from nominations received from AHSAA member school Soccer coaches.
HT Girls Soccer Head Coach Lauren Wooten will coach the North team and HT rising Senior Hannah O'Kelley was selected to play for the North squad.

Youth Wrestling Camp Begins June 1
Hewitt-Trussville Wrestling will host a Youth Wrestling Camp June 1-June 4. The camp is open to any students that will be in Kindergarten-6th Grade for the 2021-2022 school year. Please see the link below for all information about the youth camp. There is a QR code on the form that you can use to sign up.
Youth Baseball Camp Begins June 7
Hewitt-Trussville Baseball will host the 2021 Youth Baseball Camp beginning June 7. The camp will conclude on June 10 and is open to students that will be in grades Kindergarten-8th Grade for the 2021-2022 school year.

Football Passing Academy
Hewitt-Trussville Football will host the 2021 Elite Passing Academy June 21-23 from 5:30pm-7:30pm at Hewitt-Trussville Stadium. This camp is for TCS students going into 4th-8th grade. See the flier below to sign up.
Husky Hoops Tip-Off Camp
Hewitt-Trussville Boys Basketball is scheduled to host the Husky Hoops Tip-Off Camp beginning July 12. The event will run July 12-July 14 from 9am-Noon each day. The event will be held inside Bryant Bank Arena at Hewitt-Trussville High School.

The indoor season starts in November, and the outdoor season starts in February. There will be summer and fall opportunities for training, and we make it a priority to work with other sports. Email Coach Esslinger at firstname.lastname@example.org with questions. It was the most successful year in program history with two state championships, and there is something for everyone (sprinting, distance running, jumping, throwing).
Girls Flag Football
The Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) recently announced that Girls Flag Football will be a sanctioned sport in the Fall of 2021. Hewitt-Trussville High School plans to field a Varsity Girls Flag Football team if enough students are interested.
If you are a female student in grades 7-12 and plan to tryout for the Varsity Girls Flag Football team, please complete the google form below. More information will be shared when available.

Rising 7th and 8th graders interested in Cross Country can sign up NOW! Please see the information below:

Any rising 7th-8th graders interested in running cross country should sign up using the google form below.
Evaluations for MS runners will be May 24 from 3:30pm-5pm at the track. This will be an opportunity for new runners to learn about the sport prior to summer workouts.
