Dear Erickson Families,
PAINT NIGHT was a fun filled evening! Thank you Mrs. Clay and the PTO for hosting this event for over 200 kids/parents.
PLEASE REMEMBER...Tomorrow, Friday, March 18th is 1:40 dismissal. Kindergarten PM will dismiss at their regular time, 3:30. Please have students wear their Pillar Shirts and/or pillar colors tomorrow for our monthly Eagle's Nest.
Report Cards/Progress Reports will be emailed to parents on Friday, March 18th. There will be NO parent paper copies of the Progress Report being sent home. As a reminder, report cards are password protected. You will need to enter your child's birthday: Month (2 digits), Day (2 digits), Year (4 digits), including slashes MM /DD / YYYY. If you do not receive a report card on Friday, please let me know.
Spring Break: There is no school March 28th through April 1. School will resume on Monday, April 4, 2022.

DuJardin Family in Need
On Tuesday night, a student at DuJardin and family lost their Bloomingdale home to a fire (all family members and pets made it safely out from the fire). If you would like to make a monetary donation, there is a GoFundMe page set up for the family at: https://gofund.me/1453b504

Rescreening Vision and Hearing
The DuPage County Health Department Vision and Hearing team will return on March 24th to rescreen any students that did not meet passing criteria during the first screening.
They will be screening the following:
Vision: preK, K, 2
Hearing: preK, K, 1, 2, 3
Students in special education
Students in foster care
Students new to Bloomingdale SD13 this year
As of today, the Dupage County Health Department's policy requires students who are receiving the screening from Dupage screening technicians to wear masks. If you could pack a mask for students to wear for a few minutes on this day, that would be appreciated.

PTO Scholarship Application Bloomingdale School District 13
The Bloomingdale School District 13 Parent Teacher Organization is pleased to announce the availability of scholarships. We will be awarding scholarships to two graduating Seniors who attended Erickson. Applications are due into Erickson by April 15, 2022

PTO Board positions: We are looking for volunteers for open PTO Board positions for the 2022/23 school year. The President and Vice President board positions are open for election. These are two year terms. The board elections will be at the April PTO meeting. Contact the PTO if you have questions about the open positions.

PTO Scholarship: One more month for graduating seniors who attended Erickson to apply for the PTO Scholarship. Applications can be found on the Erickson or District 13 websites. There are two $750 scholarships available. They are due on 4/15. Good Luck!
