Lobsters in Distress

How lobsters are suffering from our polution

What is Climate Change?

Climate change is the an irregular weather pattern in a given area. For example, if an area which usually has rain year round were to have a drought. They're are many things at hand which can cause climate change like Earth's distance from the sun and natural disasters. Although, many climatologist agree the most dangerous of them all is human interaction.

The Effects of Climate Change

Weather changes from day to day. It may snow one day or be sunny the next. Unlike weather, climate is the typical weather of an area. Climate may differ in weather for different seasons but there should be a predictable pattern from year to year. Because of human interaction we are beginning to negatively change our climate. These negative impacts are cause by trash pollution, methane gasses, carbon emissions, deforestation and many more. These effects can be seen in rising sea level, droughts, hurricanes, heat waves, floods and melting of the arctic ice. Climate change will not only effect us but several species of animals and living organisms. If we do not do something about this issue soon there could be irreversible consequences. About Lobsters

Lobsters are sea dwelling invertebrates. Lobsters have ten legs and two large claws. Lobsters have a hard exoskeleton but like most arthropods they have to molt to grow which can leave them venerable to prey for a short period of time. Lobsters are estimated to live up to 70 years but this varies with different family of lobster. They're are many types of lobsters and they come in a wide verity of colors and sizes. Lobsters can be found in all oceans and can live in rocky, sandy or muddy shorelines. Lobsters primarily eat live prey such as small fish, worms, mollusks, other crustaceans, plants and scavenge for corpses. Lobsters can be consumed by humans are considered a delicacy in some regions. The Impact of Climate Change on Lobsters

Like many organisms lobsters are being to see the effects of our careless pollution. The green house effect is not only warming our atmosphere but our oceans. Lobsters are cold blooded meaning their body temperatures are determined by where they live. As the oceans continue to rise in temperature the lobsters have
