"The primary objective of the Student Leadership Advisory Council is to educate, encourage and inspire our next generation of Texas leaders by providing them with a venue to learn the intrinsic value of public service," stated Leach. "It is my hope that through this program, these bright young leaders will leave with a more thorough understanding of the nuts and bolts of the Texas Legislature and the significance of civic engagement."
Representative Leach's office is now accepting applications for the 2015-2016 school year. To be eligible, students must be enrolled in grades 9-12 in public, private or homeschool and must reside in District 67.
