River Mill Elementary Weekly Newsletter- Jan. 14th
Dear River Mill Families,
We are finalizing our plans to bring students back in the building. Thank you for all of your supportive emails and kind words of encouragement. Our staff is working hard to be ready to bring students back in the safest and healthiest way possible.
It is very important that we partner together to keep our schools open once we get going. This means that your role of keeping your student at home if they have any symptoms is vital to our success. If your student is in cohort A or B you need to read our form and submit it as a pledge that you will do the daily health screener and your best to help us keep our schools open. Here is the form. This needs to be filled out BEFORE your child comes to school the first day. Thank you for your partnership.
As some students in our hybrid model will be getting a new teacher, in the next few weeks classes will be having a meet and greet for new cohorts, so that students can meet their new teacher and see some of the students that will be in their new classes.
If you have not watched our hybrid video please do, as it explains information about cohorts, teachers, and what the process looks like. We also have added a video for kindergarten and 1st-grade students that are in cohorts A and B, to see what coming into the building and what their day will look like. Please watch this with your kindergarten or 1st-grade student so that they can feel ready for school on the 25th or 27th. Please stay informed as there will be a lot of information coming in the next few weeks.
