High School Student 1:1 Deployment
High Schools will begin receiving their 1:1 student devices in October. By 2022, each student will be issued a Dell device that is protected by a Gumdrop case. This will bring all middle and high schools to a 1:1 student device ratio and elementary are 2:1.
With the additional devices, students can easily access resources and materials provided by the teachers. Teachers can gather critical data to determine what students know and what students need. RCS offers a learning management system to provide opportunities for students to review, practice, and enrich their understanding of grade-level concepts. Supplemental instructional technology programs are provided by the district to foster student engagement. Check the instructional technology department website for student and teacher resources and professional development opportunities.
