The Wright Brothers Life

Orville Wright born on August 19, 1871, in Dayton, Ohio. His brother Wilbur Wright born on April 16, 1867, in Millville, Indiana. In high school Wilbur wanted to go to Yale but was injured in a fatal injury that stopped that path and would lead them on their path to inventing.Once the fatal accident happened the boys learned by reading their fathers books. This got them interested in editing and they wanted to work together so they opened a bicycle shop called Right Cycle CO. This got them interested in machinery and inventing that led them getting interested in Gliders of the late 19th century. The man that really inspired them, Otto Lilienthal, Was a German flyer who had the first successful recorded glider flight. This really interested them on the theory and art of flying. They would test prop airplanes in a wind tunnel by their house. The brothers learned everything they could about flying, such as, flying kites, designing models, and reading every book they could find.at this time they had finally mastered the way oferror on aeronautical science. But no mechanic would meet the requirements on such an engine.they finally built their own and constructed their first fully functionable aircraft.on December 17, 1903, the first flight made by Oracle lasted 12 seconds being the world's first manned powered flight.
